Texas Bluebonnet Country is a wonderful place to call home. My roots in Washington County go back seven generations, to the time of Stephen F. Austin's land grant, and I'm proud to be raising my family here.

After earning my degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, I returned to Brenham and worked for two years for Child Protective Services. I switched to real estate in 2003 to continue my passion for helping people. I love to help make people's dreams come true — especially first-time homebuyers. It's my little bit of social work!

I still work with children in the area, serving as the president of Washington County's Child Welfare Board, which provides support for children from Washington County who are involved with CPS. I also serve as a board member for Washington County Habitat for Humanity.

Additionally, I volunteer as a Blue Blazer for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. We Blue Blazers act as the Chamber's PR arm, recruiting businesses, staging ribbon cuttings, and promoting the chamber and its member businesses throughout the community.
